Scoring

Your score reflects your usage and overall seriousness of your vocabulary-learning efforts; it is calculated as follows:

• +300 for at least two minutes of training
  (bonus given at most once per 12hrs)
• +10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 for filling in a snippet
• -50 for missing a fill-in
• +40 for picking a favorite context
• +100 for writing a definition
• +100 for writing an example sentence
• +50 for correctly answering a quiz question
• -100 for incorrectly answering a quiz question
• -100 for missing one review

Time Tracking

Your training time is tracked by watching the following "actions:"

• Picking a knowledge level of a new word
• Reading definition tabs for the first time
• Filling in a snippet
• Writing your own definition or example sentence
• Attempting a quiz question

If you spend more than 75 seconds between these "actions," your tracking will be reset!
